Instagram users vented on social media Thursday ,after a new app update introduced a polarizing new way to browse through your feed.
Instead of being able to swipe vertically to see your timeline, Instagram is now forcing users to tap or swipe horizontally.
Photo-Sharing Social Media Site Instagram has apologized after bringing a big change in the way users interact with their app - leading to an online outreach and switching systems within an hour.
Tapping a picture in the middle of the image started to "resemble" the image.
But instead of vertically scrolling.
It was necessary for users to tap the right or left side of the image to move on to the next picture or video, with a progress bar indicating how far they were through their newsfeed.
